このパートでは、ハンズオン・ラボのインタラクティブ・シミュレーションを行います。このシミュレーションでは、実環境で操作しているかのように、ソフトウェアのインターフェースを利用できます。

オレンジ色のボックスは、クリックできる場所を示します。左キーと右キーで、シミュレーションを前後に移動することができます。

 

現在の容量を確認しましょう。

最初に、vCenterの現在の容量を見てみましょう。

  1. ［ホストとクラスター］をクリックします
  2. ［SDDC-Cluster］をクリックします

現在のCPU/メモリ/ストレージ容量を見てください

 

 

パブリック・クラウドのSDDC Managerで容量を追加する

  1. ［IBM Cloud for VMware Solution］タブをクリックします
  2. ［Infrastructure］をクリックします
  3. ［Add］をクリックします

ここで好きな数のサーバーを追加することができますが、このラボでは1台だけ追加します。

  1. ［Add］をクリックします
  2. ［Verifying your SoftLayer API Key...］をクリックします
  3. ［Continue］をクリックします
  4. ［You will add 1 ESXi servers for "sjc01"］をクリックします
  5. 画面の最下部までスクロールします
  6. 新しいサーバー（host4.sjc01.bluemix.vmware.com）の横にあるチェックボックスをクリックします。

必要があれば、ここで容量を削除することもできます。

  1. ［host4.sjc01.bluemix.vmware.com］の横にあるチェックボックスをもう一度クリックします。

 

 

vCenterで新しいサーバーを検証する

  1. ［vSphere Web Clent］タブをクリックします
  2. ［Manage］をクリックします。
  3. ［Disk Groups］ウィンドウを下方向にスクロールします
  4. 新しいホスト［host4.sjc01.bluemix.vmware.com］を選択します
  5. ナビゲーター・ウィンドウから改めて［host4.sjc01.bluemix.vmware.com］をクリックします

  1. タイトルバーの［Home］ボタンをクリックします
  2. ［Home］をクリックします

ラボに戻るには、画面右上のリンクをクリックするか、このブラウザ・タブを閉じます。
